“My goal is to create a space where people feel at home. High Noon is about more than looking good—it’s about feeling connected.”
Lauren Black, Founder of High Noon Barber Co.
MEET LAUREN
Lauren Black, founder of High Noon Barber Co., is a proud native Texan, hailing from the once small town of Dripping Springs. Her passion for barbering began shortly after graduating from Avenue Five Institute in Austin, TX in 2012. Over the past 12 years, Lauren has refined her craft and discovered her true calling: building genuine connections with clients and creating an inviting atmosphere where everyone feels at home.
What Lauren loves most about being a barber is the opportunity to foster lasting relationships with her clients while providing a space that’s more than just a stop for a haircut—it’s a place to relax, share stories, and build community.
High Noon Barber Co. was born from Lauren’s vision to create the kind of barbershop she had been searching for but couldn’t find in Austin. The inspiration behind High Noon is deeply personal—it carries the name of her late grandfather Harry’s fishing boat, a vessel that embodied hard work, resilience, and connection.
At High Noon, Lauren has combined her expertise, passion, and love for the Austin community to build a barbershop that embodies comfort, camaraderie, and connection. Her goal is simple: to provide exceptional service in a space where everyone feels like family.
